So Ger roughly what year we talking here for this knife??? I presume mid 30s!!!... I see the difference between the 4 knives ..not so much deco on this 1 it seems to be a little more basic in design!!! But still a good looking piece of metal lol....Thanks for the pictures... Cheers Terry.

Eickhorn had a lot of different double oval logo's in the early 30th's ( about 11 different).
They all date as far as i know in de 1933-1935 erea.
each maker in those early days made his own distinctive HJ messer, they all differ a bit from the rest.
some used rivets that fell a bit into the gripplates, some stick out.
Diamond differ also, not only in appearence, but also in size, we talk of a small diamond 13x22 or a late ( RZM ) 15-25
but i have one that is just inbetween 13 x23.5 , thats why Ronnie thought of it as a large Diamond.
Had to measure it up....just to be sure it wasnt a large one
