Blade has been ground and re tipped. About inch shorter than it should be. Scabbard may have multiple layers of paint. I believe diamond has been replaced. I would walk away from this one. Just my thoughts.

Although the details are correct for this 1937 year including the diamond......yet as Tim has pointed out the excess of usage has taken its toll on this knife.
The scabbard hanger should be black but as we see with other edged types ...mid period did have its share of some scabbard additions.

I agree, the rivets do look on the new side. Snap button probably post war, re-shaped blade is a major defect. Too many issues.
