Back in the late 1960's, I saw a genuine HJ bayonelt that had been veteran aquired. It is the only genuine example I have ever seen. They did exist in the period. I do not require any period pictures to convince me of their velidity. The HJ fireman's bayonet is a joke.

Hi, Just been reading the thread which is quite an interesting subject regarding the HJ due to their rarity. I know these pictures are not great, but would like some opinions on this one. Thanks guys
