One of the deepest etches I have seen on any HJ knife and the grip plates have been messed with.

I like the scabbard, but that knife is something very nasty. May have been a post war "Scout knife" (if not a complete repro), grips have been removed to fit a HJ badge, re-riveted and the blade etching is all post WW2 work. Some serious effort at faking here.
