HJ Fahrtenmesser by 'Puma' M7/27, for review

Hello friends,

Another HJ knife for your comments and opinions. This one by Puma, marked RZM 7/27 and dated 1939. I think it compares very well with other examples of the same maker posted here, but one never knows. The RZM stamp has the slightly higher offset '7', for example, and the Puma logo looks right. Just the right amount and type of wear to the scabbard and no signs of re-painting. The grip diamond on this one has no play in it whatsoever, if that is something to note.

Looks good. Any diamond wiggle? I'm wondering if that is a speck of glue on the grip below diamond or is it snot? Seems like an alloy hilt, bit of plating lift on pommel as might be expected. Marks look good.

No diamond wiggle at all. That speck on the grip is some kind of hard substance - tried to scratch it off and failed. Could be a bit of glue all right.
