    The blade has been slightly sharpened and is scuffed on one side from insertion in to the scabbard but the blade actually retains most of the original crossgraining (which is not very easy to see in the photos). I will try to make some better photos when the light is on my side

    A Very Nice Fahrtenmesser
    and indeed a great blade, hard to find.
    What im missing is the Motto, normallly used in 1936 even on the transistionals.
