So it is not wrong with the logo and motto in same side of blade? The diamond, seems like moving abit like many descriptoons. Thanks for all help so far

Thankyou for the photos Peter and after digging a little further ...for this producer ...the RZM logo type is incorrect and should be a stamped type ...and also you are correct on your question of the motto and logo being on the same side ...from what I am studying on this producer,,,the logo should be on the reverse side of the ricasso.
Another reason why I stated for some of the HJ Gents to comment as well on this knife.
Be patient ...gauranteed ...there will be more replies either to support my commnets or greater answers from the HJ collectors.

You're right Larry. It's either a complete fake or a re-worked post war scout knife with recent etchings and other bits. The RZM should never be on the same side as the motto and as Larry points out it wouldn't have been etched. Also diamond is fake and rivets set too deep into grips suggests the grips are replaced as well. So looks like a new fake knife, but the scabbard may be TR period but I'd like to see a photo of the back. Overall one to avoid.
Well Peter, that isnt quite correct, there are a few makers that do have the RZM logo on the same side as the Motto, and Larry stated that nicely as he said: from what I am studying on this producer
Klaas for example is one of the producers that did that.

Ger
I think this might be an original knife looking at the rivets and the diamond, might be movement in it to, but motto and logo are applied post war.
Scabbard fits.
Ger, I concede your point on the Klaas RZM, but still not convinced an original knife. Most of the photos are out of focus but the later close ups of the knife show almost no patina/ wear, where as the scabbard does. Clearly the knife and scabbard only met recently. I don't like that diamond either. Cheers!
