Well Gents, im not having problems seeing a solid diamond in a late knife but with these pics i'm pretty sure it would not be one for my collection.
That was my first impression seeing the gripplates.
If you look closely you can see on the lower right and left side a black line between the gripplates and the diamond, i have examened quite a lot of these knives in hand and in almost all cases these lines indicate traces of glue.
My 2 cents here: glued back diamond.
but.....I read there is movement in the diamond, so what is the residu then?
It it would be dirt why then only there?
This needs an in hand inspection.
Then there is another thing, depending on type of gripplates:
I have also seen how a diamond can be replaced without opening the gripplates.

It would be nice if the owner would try to clean the sides of the diamond and make better pics.
