Hi Mikel, it is fine
Cheers, Ade.
The price is €70,-!! That's a good price right?
Sounds "OK" to me in todays market.
A matching numbered one would be worth much more.
Cheers, Ade.
Hello Mickel,
Looking at your pictures, the bayonet blade looks to be covered in a layer of rust. For a clean blade bayonet of this type with scabbard, they are usually priced at 100 euro. I personally wouldn't buy this one, if later you ever want to sell it, no one will take it. My advice would be, as these are common bayonets, pay the extra, get a good condition, clean bayonet. With the one pictured you are going to be stuck with a inferior piece, you'll know it and other collectors will know as well and will be hard to sell on.
Regards
Hi Alec, if real, worth a fair bit, but I could only guess at a price.
Hi Mikel, if you want a K98 bayonet with matching numbers and by a rare maker, I am prepaired to sell one of mine which I showed on the forum a few weeks ago. But I need to determine a price.
Cheers, Ade.
The first piece was reworked as there are red plastic grips on a early piece, where should be wooden used. The second piece looks nice, mainly the winter camuflage when correct, any visible stamps on bayonet?
