For an etched KS98 about 70-80% of the potential value is in the etching. So a good sharp closeup photo is essential. This one image is again, not good enough to be certain one way or another.
As mentioned by Anderson, the pictures are low quality, the KS98 should be from later period of 30ies as zinc alloy handle, unfortunnally already rusted on pommel, the etch could be of R.Klaas type, was used by various other blade producers. the brown colored dress frog could be from LW soldier.

One thing I just noticed on the etch in this picture vs. Wayne's book on etched daggers is the word "an" is on the left side of the eagle. It looks like it does have the Klass copyright on the top right corner.
These images still not good enough. But the Robt Klaas etching design would be correct on a C.D.Schaaff KS98.
Different is only probably the oak leafs on sides of eagle.
