Article about: Ran across this Dress Bayonet by C. Gustav Spitzer, but I have never seen wood grips like this. Appear to be wood replacement grips. Would like some opinions, thank you

    A very similar knife is still made today. Germans call this a “Saufänger”.

    I understand that Gräfrath was later taken over by Kuno Ritter, which, again later, became Hubertus.

    For those who are interested there’s an article on modern day Hubertus Hubertus Schneidwarenfabrik, Solingen - European Blades

    The pictures from the workshop tell me that they don’t do 5S, Lean and SixSigma.
