The problem here is the photos are not good enough for an etched blade analysis. That said it "appears" to be a Eickhorn KS98 with the fairly common #3219 remembrance etching. If you post a good close up of the etching we can determine whether it is authentic.
I don't have this in my possession otherwise there would be better photos. Added a new photo I found. If this is authentic what would be a fair value for something like this?
Prices and condition vary and could be seen on dealer websites and would give you an idea of value.

Funny is the hole in scabbard hook, which is not proper. The etch could be correct for Eickhorn, wout exact good detailed pictures as mentioned already here.
Etch is in the book by Wayne, however I agree with you on the hook.
