Re: German K98 GEBR Heller 1937. HELP WITH UNKOWN MARK ((UNIT MARK))
Now that is one nice looking bayonet. Sorry but I do not have an answer to your question but that is one fine item (I had to comment on it)
Can you please post a picture or 2 with the entire piece ? Thank you.

Re: German K98 GEBR Heller 1937. HELP WITH UNKOWN MARK ((UNIT MARK))
wonderful piece, i haven't yet seen a bayonet with Waffenamt stamped on the weapon attachment button. I have 6 mauser bayonets (with five more to come) and none have that. Very interesting. And the blade looks stunning as-well; thank you for posting extra pictures.

Re: German K98 GEBR Heller 1937. HELP WITH UNKOWN MARK ((UNIT MARK))
What a great looking bayonet!
I've seen more early types with WaA stamps like this on the attachment button, very beautiful.
It is a unit stamp for sure, but cant help you to identify it.

Re: German K98 GEBR Heller 1937. HELP WITH UNKOWN MARK ((UNIT MARK))
Iām the person that bought this item. I did not buy it to resale.
Never say never though.
It now is in my safe with some other items.
There were several reasons why I bought this particular bayonet , some of which I am sure are peculiar to situation.
Since I plan to keep the bayonet , I would greatly appreciate any further information that might surface about the ā105ā markings. .............
Thanks.

I have a similar one as well, but mine is in a rougher condition. I got mine at an auction for $55 https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/dagge...93/#post444969

Hi....I've just picked up one of these '37 Gebr.Heller too here in New Zealand, in pretty much the same condition - only it has a non-matching scabbard and bakelite grips. Have not taken apart yet to check if grips match.
BUT..the interesting thing is the serial number - mine is 9652 a
Not far in production from yours.
