    Thanks guys I thought it looked weird . my friend will not be happy . I always tell him send me photos before he buys . Gary

    This one was fairly easy to identify as a fake. A couple of years ago at a show a non-blade specialist picked up in a trade a different better made example that was probably from another manufacturer (that could have been in another country). He was not happy to receive the bad news, my point being that that for new prospective purchasers the forum is a good way to go if there are no knowledgeable fellow collectors in your local area.
