Hello. On one of the trading platforms I came across a K98 bayonet with unusual markings. Is it possible to determine what kind of stamp this is and what period it belongs to? "KART.4987."

I would say post WW2 marked, possibly Norwegian service. The pommel has early type inspection stamps. I don't think this is a Portugal contract one though, looks like early 1930's made.
Bayonet made in 1942. Stamped "42asw".
Fair enough, then should be WaA519. Still would say post war pommel mark. Not part of the Spain contract (has WaA) or Portugal contract (too late), so post war service somewhere else, perhaps Norway.
Hi Panzerwolf....could we see more photos of the bayonet?

I apologize for the quality of the photos. The item is not from my collection, so I cannot view it in detail.
Marking on pommel its of using by Norwegian Coastal Artillery post 1950 probably, otherway its a matching piece. Similar way was marked the rifle.
Hello,
definitely a post-1945 mark.
Must be Norway.
Regards
Thanks everyone for the answers.
