Hungarian bayonet frog for the M 1935 bayonet
regards
No this is a czechoslovak frog for Vz.24 with unit stamp on backside. The surface could be blackened by germans, even not reworked to german standarts.
All these frogs are austria-ugria designs, but the M35 hungarian should be larger as the blade is larger and heavier as M95 austrian or Vz.24.
Hi,
this is a Czechoslovak frog, which was adopted in large numbers in the German equipment after 1938.
These frogs have been used extensively and are therefore found quite often.
J.3.A is the old Czechoslovak troop stamp of the 3rd Jezdecký pluk = 3rd Cavalry Regiment, A Bataillon.
Regards
