Hello everyone and have a great weekend!

Are there any specialists here who can identify the manufacturer of this bayonet? There are no markings on the blade. However, the bayonet is original, and I don't know the distinguishing features of different manufacturers, so I can't figure out who made it. Maybe you can help? Thanks in advance.

I assume the KS98 sawback is a imperial one, when steel handle, should be magnetic grip, the shape of pommel looks so as early form, the frog is too for extra bayonet probably, but the cavalry? Staff Porteepee is not period probably as WW2 ?.

While the bird head pommel has the more rounded look ( especially around the "beak") of the Imperial era, the grip plates and two rivets suggest to me post Imperial manufacture, Weimar Republic, 1920's era is more likely. The Battaillon II Staff Faustriemen is probably 10 years later.

Thank you! I thought this bayonet was from the World War II period. Can you tell me, were there bayonets with saw backs during World War II, or were they no longer produced?

The sawback was on service bayonets forbidden in 1917, its possible they used still some as spare parts avialable on postwar period only by dress items, but most pieces are on fireworker Faschinenmesser blades not on KS98 prior 1939.
