S84 / 98 with matching numbers from this manufacturer are always good.

Are the metal parts of the crossguard and the scabbard really painted?
In the pictures it looks more like they have been cleaned with metal cleaner and the browning has given way to a phosphate coating?

Can you please submit a picture from the manufacturer of the frog?

It looks like scabbard has been painted black but crossguard does not appear to have been painted ..

I believe what SW says is correct it looks like browning over old blueing on scabbard, on crossguard its on blank metal probably, there are not visible traces of paint.

But even on originals stamps are attached to enhance them even more.

So could you please post a picture of the manufacturer's stamp?
