    If my memory serves me correct, early versions were nickel, then aluminum and then a cheaper metal

    I think that there is a book out there that says differently - but yes you are correct. Nickel silver (very roughly 2/3 copper), aluminum and lastly zinc which sometimes does not hold up as well. Best Regards, Fred
