Lindberg was pilloried for years during WW2. He somewhat made up for it during the war by services to the US,
    especially in the South Pacific.

The street I grew up on in Dallas was named Lindberg Lane. When the war broke out it was renamed
    and never changed back.

I know there were photos of sword #2 in one of the old Johnson dagger books (which I sold long ago).
Surely there must be some floating on the net?

More and better photos of this sword are shown in War Booty book. I believe Wolfe owns it .

Seeing this thread and it brings back memories of holding and examining the 2nd Goring sword. The sword has the head of Christ with thorns on his head and is darn near a stick figure impression. Steve Wolfe told me then, in the mid 90's before the Goring collection was seized by the Feds that the sword was the actual sword Napoleon carried into Germany headed to Russia. As he advised it was part of the artworks seized by Goring when Paris was taken over.
