Hi Danny. I think that there are such daggers shown in the forum, but with lost gilding. I have also seen examples with lost gilding in some reference books. Some time ago I posted a thread about Alcoso 2nd model luftwaffe dagger with a guilded pommel in the forum, but it was not approved by the forum members. I saw you viewed the post before. Please give your opinion.
