It is original, but messed with.
Note the missing grip wire and repainted swastikas.
Pass on it.
Cheers, Ade.

Wittmann Militaria #37436C Aluminum Luftwaffe Officer's Sword by SMF
But even with thouse issues is it worth to buy it for 600-700e?
Its much much cheaper then one in perfect condition.
Thank you
Jacob
Too much money! I found a good condition one here in the states for $800 USD
Curt
But when im checking prices from your country they are much bigger then 800$...
exp:Luftwaffe, Military Collectibles, Inc.
Of course im talking about dealers not private sellers becouse i dont know any....
But anyway thanks for help
Ill pass this sword
Thank you
Jacob
I priced a couple at a local military show here in Franklin Tenn. some are higher & lower depends all on condition. I've noticed online prices are usually much higher! BTW your blade looks nice, usually when I pick up a sword or dagger that I can afford at that time. I always find another at a later date in better shape & I wind up with 2 LOL Hope this helps.
Curt
In my opinion the aluminum later version goes for a little less than the nickel earlier version. I am not a big fan of this one. I would look for a better example.

You are all right but problem is that i live in Ireland so i dont have to much sources from which i can buy stuff.
This one i see first time (with out dealers in usa) on auctions since i start.
Jacob even far up in Ireland your connected to Europe right?
There are plenty out there
This one is way overpriced.
Buy one at the forums like WAF or German daggers, buying from well known collectors is pretty save!
A decent early one will come by in time and you save a lot comparing to the big sellers....
Go for a mint ALU if you want a late one, personally i would as Kirk stated, go for a nice early nickel silver.
They look so much better, even if they are worn...
Here a Weyersberg that i once owned....
