Thanks volks, I’m not convinced myself. I’ve looked at a few prior post regarding similar rings. I’m new around these parts. I would have to guess that when something like this comes up and it’s being offered by a site sponsor, judgment may shall we say muted. I get that. My mom owned a second hand store in nyc back in the 70s up to the 90s. I never had to worry about authenticity due to the fact the items were coming from the veterans themselves. Now days it seems most of the time I’m trying to weed out the fakes. I watched a YouTube about this guy Walter in Florida. His stuff seems to be bunk.the scary part is Tom Whitman seems to think he’s a stand up dealer. That’s kind of scary. I’ve also noticed items with numbers on them ( daggers for example).the seller will say “ you never know who owned this, you can have it researched it might be someone famous or infamous...I have the sense they know this information already and the number was untraceable. Luxury problem they tell me. Cheers

Not always the case, a 'Scam / Deception', dealers are human as well, we all make mistakes, the actual dealer may be selling in good faith or wrong information was given to him ( if fake )..

Copy that, I fully agree. Hitler and Goering both bought works of art they acquired through Speer that turned out to be counterfeit. Not brought to light until 1947, luckily for someone. Whether they knew it or not. Thanks again for the second look.

a ring that is made in only one cannot be identified as genuine, rings that have made hundreds of copies will inevitably be defective. There are no two identical potatoes from the same bush. I bought 2 gold party badges, and bought an enamel ring with a crack in the enamel. The badges are enamel and the ring is enamel. Shown on the forum. I was asked to show the ring - fake / original. Friends, who will make an enamel ring for 200 €, will make a hit to damage the enamel. This is funny.

This ring, on the forum, has been identified by some people a Fallschirmjager ring as a fake. Again, the ring costs 400 € from the dealer. It turns out that in order to earn 300 €, the fraudster made a fake, hit the ring in at least 3 places, cut the ring, and put a plate to show that the ring was enlarged for a different size. Guys, this is already paranoia. Better not to buy anything at all.

    Here is 3 rings
    Where is fake ?

And here is damaged one ring
Do you thinking the fraudster, made a ring, and damaged it? We know, damaged thing is all the time is cheaper. Why the fraudster I damaged? Better to made 100 copies and sell like copy. A man will get much more money.

Guys, I'm laughing. I can take abrasive paper and ruin the ring like in this photo. These rings are a matter of faith, you will never know anything. Unless you find a dead soldier on his arm
    With regards
    Viktor.

PS. I'd buy this ring, if I looked for it. Nobody and never can say - original or not. O can bring the ring of my friend, and ask a specialist to make copy, and fight with my friend in the war, with the same ring.
