Thanks for the response SpitfireVb, would you say in your opinion the particular auction site is trustworthy regarding all items being genuine or do you still need to be cautious with auctions? It’s an absolute minefield for individuals who are new to the game.

Yep, it's a minefield for experienced collectors too. I know next to nothing about Richter or any other auction site. One problem is that the seller may well believe that the items for sale are genuine but, often (with rings anyway), they are either mistaken or don't care that much. A money back guarantee is good, however the dealer can always just sell the returned ring to someone else. With Third Reich rings, unless you got the ring directly from the original owner, it's usually hard (for me anyway) to be 100% sure. That's why it's good to have the various militaria fora and run an item past several experienced collectors
