Looks fine. The RM3 is the least common of the denominations from Buchenwald. A good find.

These are fantasy pieces.. They have nothing to do with KZ Buchenwald..

Here are some images of what the item is supposed to be. It is purported to be WWI German POW money for POWs who worked in mines.

Notice how the top of the Buchenwald note has been cut and the corners rounded...

Here are a bunch of the fake notes for Buchenwald...

Someone getting creative with a pair of scissors, a typewriter and an ink stamp....

Nothing I would want to add to my original KZ Buchenwald money items..

    Hello,

What do you think about the note below from the concentration camp of Dachau? Everything looks good except that there is not the series number at the right side. Have you ever seen a note like that?

I have never seen an original example without the serial number to the bottom right, so this piece is likely a reproduction. The slightly bolder font also looks off when compared to the genuine example I posted earlier in this thread (post nr.51)

Also, two prisoners (at least) received the inmate number shown on the example you posted. They were both released from the camp long before these tokens were ever issued. It is possible that the number was reissued again, for a third time...but overall, I have serious doubts about this piece.

They look fine but checking the dimensions and thickness, consistency of the paper would confirm it. One of the main things to look for with Buchenwald currency is an uneven pattern to the background print and these two appear good in that regard.

Some of the external Kommando marked examples can command a premium but the Rottleberode marked pieces are among the more common satellite issued pieces. They are still unusual though, more so than examples from the main camp.
