Sadly the wrap is not real. If you bought it from a reputable dealer, i would try to return it.

Can you explain why you don't think it's real? What has given you the doubts?
And can anyone explain why it's not original?
I know nothing about these and would like to be able to see why something isn't the real deal.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Two different forums with the same thread and the same conclusion.
You bought it because you like it. That’s the important thing .
And if you had questions start with the stamp and the numbers.
Best regards

The details and markings in this wrap are no consistent with any known maker of real wraps. The wrap is well made but thats it.

I startet to research and study wraps nearly a decade ago. I had many, i studied many, i still own a few. Thats an old pic from 2015. Every shown wrap has a solid background research regarding the maker incl. the maker fingerprints. Each of this wraps is matching to examples in the Pritchett or Beaver books.
Once you handled enough real wraps, its not that difficult but its a long expensive path to walk....
