"the officer, Otto Reich, is wearing what appears to be
a Panzer beret skull on his black uniform sleeve
in the spot where normally a raute would be placed.
A Pz beret skull is not a regulation raute to my
knowledge, and a Waffen-pattern emblem on an
Allgemeine tunic is very confusing."

Whilst I have no knowledge whatsoever on the subject, I must say the SS shoulder boards pictured above really do look very impressive, they have a real quality appearance to them, they look as though they were designed by a jeweler.
