Dot 44 hbt Panzer wrap authentication

Hi,
I was tasked to authenticate my friend's dot 44 panzer wrap that he bought 20+years back.
I know next to nothing about SS so I am in a bit over my head. I personaly think its a well made copy from the 80s and 90s that has been aged to look authentic.
But again, I dont know for sure. I would love to hear other peoples opinions on it.
Disclaimer, the shoulderboards were added on by himself they are not original to the uniform.
Also, dont mind the things in the backgrund. The photos was taken at the musum in which it is displayed.

I'm no expert either but looking at the inside of this it doesn't look like original material to me.

Yeah, the general color of the fabric seem artificially whitened. But then again, the lighting don't really do it justice either.

Thank you, I was leaning towards that conclusion, but I couldnt find good enough reference pictures. I am somewhat pleased to hear that, since it was on display under suboptimal conditions.
