The white cloth on the back I cannot explain it. It does not look stitched to the patch maybe glued? The arm badge itself looks like a standard German made original example. I would buy it if the price was good.
The extra backing cloth itself is red flag enough to say that the badge is a repro.
The black fabric is wrong, the embroidery is different than on the originals.
The back is solid white, with the exception of the blue stripe, which is not always present.
I add accepted originals, compare them, first with each other so that you can recognize the repeated characteristics
and then compare with the repro and you will see the difference.

The shield that started the thread is a fake one.
There are at least 4 original variations of this shield - different width and thickness of embroidery and the last variation has a bit different blue thread which is brighter and shiny. The variation that johanis1860 posted is the most common type and often available on dealers. Very hard to find in worn condition though.
I will add a picture of my Dachau shields where three out of four know variations are shown.
