Hello d'Alquen,

you are right I had overlooked the price-list from January 1938 and an earlier order
where they were mentioned as article 229. When the gauntlets are in that price-list
they must have been worn anyway since 1937.
I checked the "Mitteilungsblatt der RZM" from 1937, but they were not mentioned
as a new article in 1937. This is not uncommon as many changes were not ever
mentioned in that. They were not mentioned in a price-list from mid-1936.

Hi Wim,
Was that the order that Standard and Flag bearers could get a free tunic because the bandoliers and gorgets were causing their tunics to wear out more quickly?
