    Stumbled upon this photo awhile back with an unusual skull on the ski cap. Typically, the Norwegian GSSN wore bevo skulls on their ski caps...visor caps were not worn by the GSSN. This, however, is not a typical SS skull...anyone have any ideas on it?

    Could the dark parts be black thread attaching it to the cap?

    I mean, it's facing the wrong way, so at best it's a collar tab skull cut out

    I'm going to give you the same answer as in the other forum, stay with the one that convinces you the most, but surely it is not a skull that has never been seen before.

    Nope, I'm pretty convinced it's a collar tab skull...now just to pin down the actual pattern
