Default My New Early Danziger TK

I've recently acquired a new TK. It's in very good condition.. Almost looks unissued. It still has about 85-90% silver finish left and the prongs look like they have never been touched. I have another one of this type and they seem to be a match. There is some excess material on the cut out edges...What do you think? I think it is made from zink, but i'm not sure. I ussually find these with one or both prongs that are missing. Any opinions or thoughts are appreciated, Thanks.

Nice find Marten! Ive been searching for this one as well. I've read the zink ones often have week attachement points, thus the missing prongs. This is a beautiful example imo, congrats!

Thanks Lt. Col Ullergaard, much appreciated!

I just realized i posted this in the wrong section. I've pmed Adrian the Moderator for this part of the forum to have it moved to the appropriate subsection, SS Metal cap insignia.

Apologies for the inconvenience. To make this post a bit more useful, here is my other example in much worse shape:

Marten, I think it's fine. This pattern is typically zinc with a silver finish and those chunky features. Take a look at John T's website and you'll see the last few sold all exhibit the same characteristic's. here are mine in different states of wear for comparison.

    Cheers, Al

    Thanks Dan

Aldo, I completely forgot to compare it with the John T skulls. You are right, they match up fine with yours and the ones from him. Thank you for showing your examples here.

I wonder where the aluminium made variants from John T ended up?
