So, do you have any suspicions where the tunic originated from? Is it a stinker intentionally made to deceive less savvy collectors or could it still be a post-45 MosFilm creation? There are enough issues to definitely steer clear, but on the whole I don't find it to be an awful representation. Out of curiosity, how much would an honest stripped black tunic go for today?
I have no idea what the true origin would be, but I doubt that it's ever been in the Mosfilm wardrobe. Stripped black tunics are hard to find now that the original batch from behind the Iron Curtain have mostly been re-badged at this point, and made their way into collections.
