Here's an original 'almost an arsehead' type ....... but compare the jawline.
That’s a nice TK with a great look, definitely looks like a “war horse”. Is it in your collection? Is it known who the maker is?

    Not mine, unfortunately.

Came with a vet group from 1993.

    Maker unknown.

    Here's the reverse.

Thanks for the additional pictures. Great TK tab. The reverse looks similar to TK tabs made by maker “308”, they tend to have those black threads on the perimeter and I can just barely make out a hersteller stamp… it kind of looks like “308” but I’m not sure.

I received my refund minus shipping charge.
Sent a note that I should receive refund on shipping charge also because it is clearly not original.

Weitz still claims it is original.

    Buyer Beware

    Yet another 'arsehead' type.

Posted over on the 'other place'.

Poorer construction, but undoubtedly an 'arsehead'.

This suggests that these 'arsehead' TKs are still being made, over 30 years after the first appearance of the 'arsehead'.

The bottom line with all this is ....... if you don't do your research properly, and I mean PROPERLY, you will be right royally screwed.
