Article about: Welcome to the forum Alex. SS insignia are something I know little about but looks like you have amassed a nice collection!

Does this help. A close up of one of the Delich badges. Alex I wouldn't have recognised that was a plough at the bottom of your one, if I hadn't seen the Delich original. Difference in quality.

Thats made of cotton thread. The one I have is an officers version made with metal thread.

You have a reproduction, the quality of embroidery is sorely lacking.

I agree about the sloppy embroidering. It's the material and the vet I got it from that makes me remain skeptical about it being fake. The metal thread feels like steal because of how hard it is. And the black wool is identical to some of the Dachau tabs I have.

I honestly can't recall ever having seen an original officer's version of this particular raute, but the one you show is typical in construction of copies made in Pakistan. The material is aluminum rather than steel, which is what it should be, but what is lacking is the level of detail, and the variety of different metallic threads observed in original pieces in general.

None of the fachfuehrer sleeve diamonds were ever produced in aluminium thread, all of them were created in grey thread due to their late production.

Thanks for the info Arron. Will look for some of the Pakistan copies to compare to.
