Perhaps do you have an opinion about the early jawless skull... It's less my stuff than the M34 skulls,

Thanks for linking to the other thread. Those members know their stuff when it comes to visors and caps! In my opinion, looking only at the front view of the insignia, They still might be good. Unfortunately this is not uncommon to see that higher end fakes have a mix of original and fake materials / Insignia. Good thing you posted it here!

I hope you have your early Schutzstaffel cap one day.. They are very appealing.

The insignia is probably real, the early TK where cheap only a few years ago, around 100us and the political eagle is also when compared to an SS. I’ve read that 3 prong late war TK where common on earlier fakes caps as these where also cheap when compared to earlier second pattern skulls, economics at work I guess.
