SS NCO/EMs Embroidered Sleeve Eagle

Hi Guys,
Wanted to share this sleeve eagle that I acquired. The width (outer tip to outer tip of wings) measures 80mm, the height (top of head to the bottom of wreath) is 35mm, the patina/wear to the obverse of the badge has the 'passage of wear & time' to it, with the reverse being 'cleaner' in appearance. Nice cloth detailing on the reverse & remnants of original fixing thread to the front.

Far from expert on ss sleeve eagles, but looks like a good one imo!

Thanks Ltc, the photos don't do it justice, the embroidery is very precise, in hand it feels & has the characteristics of old cloth (similar to other period cloth items I own) !

Thank you P (for some reason I can't get the like & thank icons to work at the moment ?). Glad you like it I think I have found a 99.9% match on this in the Beaver/Bando book, on page 279, flaws/detailing etc...the one in the book was taken as a souvenir in July 1944, so at least 1944 manufacture, I suppose it's hard to say definitively when this 'particular badge' was manufactured ?
