the items look suspicious to me so that is why i wanted to check with you first

I don't like the tab either , the buckle details look very weak although if an original it could just be down too wear .

Agreed, the tab is of poor material. A better pic of the reverse of the buckle would confirm

I like the buckle,got a lot of age and wear to it.

I think also that the buckle is good, It isn't the typical molded one. This one has been heavily used.
