The hose and cap were my father's. The tabs and hanger were of my own finding. I hope these serve as useful tools for someone in their quest to "fill holes" as my dad put it. Of note: A very sincere "THANK YOUc to FB for a recommendation given to another member concerning the article by Thayer in the Military Advisor. I actually grew up not far from Mr. Bender and found him a pleasure to speak with. I purchased the newest editions of Mr. Saris books and requested the article if Mr. Bender had the time to possibly copy it. Not only did I receive the wonderful books from Mr. Wim as well as both available volumes of Leaders of the SS and German Police, but Mr. Bender was kind enough to include the edition from WINTER 94/95. A wonderful article. Again, I am just trying to return the favor of sharing these tags via this thread in the hopes they help someone. I look forward to sharing these items individually and in their own time to give them the attention I suspect they deserve. Best wishes to all and happy collecting!
Thanks. Very nice cap. I have known Bender for a very, very long time, let it be said. I even bought a grey SS cap from him once, acutally. Before the flood.
