Hi, and welcome to the forum.
It is not quite what you thought. It is to hold to presentation copy of Hitler's book, Mein Kampf.
It is worth about two thousand dollars/pounds.
Cheers, Ade.
Ades right yet again. The wedding casket. So you were at the wrong end.............
It would hold the white copy with the blue spine, and on the inside of the lid it will have a frame which is where the happy couple would reside in photographic form
That price is a top retail price, expect less from a dealer if wanting to sell, And no i don't want to buy it
nice item and when faked easily spotted
WOW THANK YOU ALL . for your very quick and informative posts... my entire family has thought this was a cremation coffen since 1947 hahahahaha shows you how much we know thx a bunch again
Just goes to show you, you've tried the rest now have the best
Seriously, a nice piece of history, and not as macabre as you probably thought. When they come with the photo inside, its a weird feeling though.

I am very pleased for you. It is a super item.
Cheers, Ade.

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
