The Bundeswehr can be distinguished from the Waffen SS, a fact that should be fundamental to anyone with the level of ambition to collect material of this kind.
Chronology is fate, in a certain kind of way.
I was studying in Bonn, FRG when said uniform was made. The Waffen SS had been gone for almost thirty years.

Peculiar how it is that one gets suffocated in odd clothes derived from one of the two German armies in the cold war, whereby the Austrian Bundesheer Dienstrock resembles an SS tunic both in cut and in color, but we see it less, because such things do not come surplus, because the BH is so much smaller than either the old Bw or the NVA.
