Hi Guys, this Totenkopf tab has just come in at work.
Uniform removed and taken as a souvenir by a member of the Royal Artillery at Belsen camp. Never been in a collection before.
Going into my June 11th sale @bamfords
Cheers, Ade.

A piece of history whit provenance, congratulations!
The only saving grace for this tab is where it was liberated from ...other than that if it just came off a uniform somewhere in a field unit...it would be given a pass due to its current condition.
Scary Provenance Ade and surely this will be scooped up quickly at auction.
Cheers Larry

Nice item Ade,
I was lucky to add a medical officers hat (army not SS) that was acquired by a vet who was in Belsen.
All the best

A chilling piece of history.
Thanks for the comments guys.
Of course it is early war left facing tab too which is rare in itself.
