It looks to have the correct "salt and pepper" detailing to the rear and the embroidery appears to be even and well made, i would say its ok but i think other opinions are needed to be sure, i think Ade and Bill will be making a visit on this one
thanks for responding so quickly,,,Robert
Hi Robert, it is bad.
Have a look at my pinned thread on fake Bevo woven cuff titles.
Also, an easy thing to spot on this one is the letter "H". On originals, the "crossbar" which forms the letter is not located centrally. It should be placed higher. See my original here to illustrate what I mean.
By the way, this title can be found in two other versions. Bob Hritz has shown them on the forum in the past.
Cheers, Ade.
thanks Ade,,,Robert
Jeez, these fakers are getting good hey? If the crossbar had been in the correct position this one would have been even harder to spot!
Good thing these are out of my price range!
they are better than good, that is why they don't produce the perfect copy.
I knew Ade would have a say on this one and its just as well, this type of subject is a minefield, but looking at it again and comparing with the original i can see that the crosspiece of the H is level with all the other smaller letters, is this the norm with regards to the capitol letter on all such cuff titles of this rgt
Hi Glenn, there is honestly nothing to worry about collecting thes, other than the price! These fakes are made of man made fibres and will not pass either a blacklight or burn test and if you read my pinned article you will see how the edge detail on the reverse side is incorrect.
Hi Dave, the crossbar detail is just relevant to this divisional title.
Cheers, Ade,
