what is this?

hi, im all really new to this, ive just got 3 medals/badges handed down to me and i have no idea about one of them. ill get a picture up asap.
i have been all over the internet trying to find something that remotly looks like this but nothing so far.

its about 2 1/2 inches in diameter
screw back
plated on a gold "sun shaped backing"
it then has a yellow cirlcle in the middle with a blue SS emblem
then under the SS it was a wreath of oak leaves.

if anyone can explain anything about it to me it would be greatly appriciated!
