Hello Forum Members,
The great moderator of this headgear forum had asked me to post this very rare cap for everyone's viewing pleasure, and I am happy to do so. This is what appears to be a war ministry sample / standard for use of manufacturers who were awarded contracts as a "standard" to emulate for manufacturing this pattern field cap. It is untouched and amazing it survived all these years. Take special notice of the cool seal which is still partially there. The only damage is to the top roundel which must have been bent and suffered paint loss in the process in some sort of storage over the past 114 years.
