Yes it is a Wehrwolf button.
I even had the die, but sold that one...
I believe this one with funny mounts and Assmann mark is a fake. Those skulls are showing sometimes with different producers stamped onto those splints, but the same design. It is unlikely different producers made same kind of skulls with same mounting splints. I have also one like this, without any maker but with D.R.G.M.
I suggest starting a new thread asking for opinion on this one.
Kris (Stuka F) knows his WWl totenkopfs and I’d ask his opinion.
Why new thread CBH ? To ask for opinion on which one- mines or Kris'es ? Kris have seen this thread, I am sure he have noticed my input as well, he can answer if he only wants to.
