    An enlisted ranks field cap for a Saxon infantry regiment, given the Saxon cockade and stamp for the XIX Armee Korps ( 2nd Saxon).
    Obviously in rough shape; there are many others out there available.
    Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $200, since Saxon items are less common than Prussian. Condition is just too shabby, at least for me.
    Just my humble opinion.

    Moths love these caps. I guess since they were handled, crushed and stuffed into jackets and pockets with greasy hands. LoL

    That said, unless priced low, I would pass. Mine isn't in much better condition and I overpaid for it many years ago.
