Default Austro-Hungarian cross, real or fake?

Hello, some time ago I bought this cross, but that was before I knew really something about collecting or places like that one. From my research I think it's "Verdienstkreuz" (Merit cross). My question is if it's real or a nice fake? I doubt it's real because it's condition is really good and looks like new.

I do not collect these but to me, the condition of the ribbon
does not at all match the condition of the cross. I would guess
that the cross is probably good and the ribbon is a new replacement.

I agree with Gregg. The cross is good for me. The ribbon is not original of the time

Interesting, thank you for the replies. Shame that the ribbon is a new one (although it is pretty obvious), but that doesn't really bother me as long as the medal is real.

    My opinion....not good!
this is a good one...check the difference in manufactoring.

The ribbon is obviously new and I don't like the cross, either. Between the soft details and the colour of the metal, I would say it is a cast fake.

I only have the grade without the crown:

I wouldn't have thought about it, but I suppose everything, absolutely everything is falsified. Of course I accept the opinion of the experts.
