Flag 1914 Königlich Preußische Armee (K. P. A.) Erfurt

Hi there,

my last find on the flea market was this K. P. A. flag. The fabric is very very thick and heavy. Also the flagpole seem like an original one.

Do you maybe know more about it? Is this a war flag? Where they have used this kind of banners?

I have taken a closer look on the damages of the flag. For me it looks like they could be from some shrapnels, etc. Most of the damages looks like burned torn holes. Maybe the flag was used in the battle field…who knows…
