Your dagger is a nice looking late period Alcoso. The maker mark showing "AWS" is the last wartime mark Alcoso used. The crossguard is a nice late variant, often referred to as the "high-lift" type, based on the protruding chest of the crossguard eagle. Excellent example, thanks for sharing.
a good honest Heer dagger.
Great Late Production type as Billy pointed out..the Crossguard stands out over in appeal only known to Alcoso.
No Heer Collection is without one of these types.
